MUSEUM.IO
Museum.IO is a mobile application designed to enhance the museum-going experience by educating patrons about the artwork and artists on display, while also encouraging deeper engagement through sharing, discovery, and seamless gift shop integration. The app allows users to scan QR codes placed on existing exhibit plaques to access detailed information, save and share favorite pieces, and even purchase artist-themed merchandise for pickup or delivery.
This end-to-end concept was self-initiated and fully designed by me—from ideation to high-fidelity prototyping.

THE APPROACH
The project began with a clear goal: create a user-friendly digital companion that helps museums connect more deeply with their audiences, extend their educational value, and increase gift shop revenue. I focused on three core pain points:

I wanted the app to feel intuitive from the very first interaction while still offering powerful features like personalized collections, artist discovery, and mobile ordering from the gift shop.

THE RESULT
The final prototype of Museum.IO is now being showcased to museums across the United States. Feedback from early demos has been overwhelmingly positive—especially regarding the app’s clean design, ease of use, and thoughtful integration with existing infrastructure.
