The Magic of Hope – Book Launch, Cover Design & Audiobook Experience
A multi-touch creative project helping a family share their story of faith, resilience, and dreams—across print, digital, and audio.

Overview
“The Magic of Hope” is a memoir by Katie Evans that recounts her family’s journey of perseverance while living next door to Disney World. I led the creative effort to bring this story to life visually and experientially—designing the book cover, producing the audiobook, and launching the marketing rollout.

The Challenge
Katie had a beautiful manuscript and a powerful story—but no clear creative direction or marketing plan. Our challenge was to turn her story into a professional, emotionally resonant product that would stand out on Amazon and Audible.

-
Audio Producer – recorded and produced the full audiobook

Marketing Strategist – created assets for Amazon, social media, and email
-
UX Lens: I focused on how readers feel when encountering the story visually or audibly, ensuring clarity, warmth, and resonance across formats.

What I Learned
Working on The Magic of Hope sharpened my ability to blend emotional storytelling with design execution. It taught me how to take a complex, heartfelt message and translate it into multiple formats, while keeping the user experience front and center.
